Unlike packing your bags and heading off on a plane to a Tropical Island - giving your skin a holiday and having some self care time, while pampering your inner soul, will not cost thousands.
My suggestion - start with filling a bath, or find a quiet room in the house, bloody hang a do not disturb sign on the door handle if necessary.
Then what ever is going to put a smile on your face, - wine, a hot chocolate, a fruit tea, or maybe a mulled wine.
Then grab your favourite Face Mask (I will explain them over the next weeks) but mine at the moment is "Orange Peel Revitalizing Mask" It almost looks like marmalade, and the scent is like a citrus paradise, it is a blast of all things amazing....Vitamin C, Amino Acids, Rosehip, Acai, Essential Oils, and more. It gives your face vibrancy, elasticity, hydration, nourishing and enhancing your skins texture. It smells devine.......so pop some on your face, not too much....(we measure quantity in peas sizes here) Lol. So an amount the size of 2-3 peas aprox. is all that is needed. Avoid getting it too close to your eyes.
Then sit back in that warm bath, or in the quietness of that empty room, with your drink, maybe a little music playing in the back ground, and think of nothing but yourself. Pure bliss......Leave your mask for around ten minutes, then rinse with a warm flannel or face chamois. Always best to follow with a hydrating moisturizer.
It is not quite a tropical paradise with no kids and nothing but the sun and cocktails to think about, but I tell you what, your skin will be extremely happy, it will feel amazing and your soul and senses will have had a little time away from the everyday grind.
